Shella Connor, Zumba instructor, right, and OCC Med at Murray-Calloway County Hospital, leads school children in physical activity during a new health initiative by the hospital to fight childhood obesity in February. The new wellness initiative was started by the MCCH Center for Health and Wellness. Supported by the Murray-Calloway Endowment for Healthcare, the Wellness Center sends instructors to elementary schools in the Murray and Calloway County school districts twice a month to lead students in physical activity and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
