Marshall County Hospital Home Health earned accreditation from The Joint Commission in recognition of the organization’s commitment to quality and safety.
The accreditation involved an unannounced on-site survey of the home health department from a team of Joint Commission surveyors.
The team of Joint Commission surveryors evaluated the department’s compliance with standards of patient care, leadership and medication management.
Marshall County Hospital Home Health is part of the national LHC Group Inc., providing post-acute care services to patients.
“In achieving Joint Commission accreditation, Marshall County Hospital Home Health has demonstrated its commitment to the highest level of care for its patients,” said Margherita Labson, registered nurse and executive director for home care accreditation with The Joint Commission.
