A local Fat Tuesday tradition continues Feb. 12 with the Lourdes Foundation’s annual charity party, Mardi Gras & All That Jazz.
Raising about $70,000 in proceeds last year to benefit Lourdes hospital clinical areas, and provide upgraded facilities and technology throughout the hospital, the Mardi Gras celebration helps ensure the hospital can continue to provide advanced services to patients.
The fundraiser will be held in the event center at Harrah’s Metropolis Hotel from 6 to 9 p.m. Lew Jetton & 61 South will provide their blend of blues and southern rock music, while guests satisfy their Cajun food cravings with treats from local restaurants and caterers.
Vendors include: A Pampered Palate, Alto Vineyards, Artisan Kitchen, Coca-Cola, Dove Chocolate Discoveries, Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park, Lourdes Starbucks, Midtown Market, Ozark Pride Meats, Pepsi Mid-America, Rafferty’s Restaurant & Bar, Roof Brothers Wine & Spirits, Shandies, Shawnee Winery, The Pasta House Company, The Range Steakhouse and WKCTC Culinary Arts.
An auction of Bill Ford’s Mardi Gras artwork will start at 7:30 p.m.
