BARDWELL — Elsie Nannette Fuess Allan, 75, of Bardwell, and formerly of Riverton, Ill., passed away at 5:56 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Lourdes Hospital.
Mrs. Allan was a member of Bardwell United Methodist Church and worked as a clerk for Union Bus Terminal in Springfield, Ill.
She is survived by three daughters, Enola Owens and husband Terry of Springfield, Ill., Edwina Turner and husband Pete of Bardwell, and Wilhemina Cunningham and companion Kirk Whayne of Clinton; seven grandchildren, Thumper Kick and wife Ashley, Robert Kick and wife Der Yang, Jennifer Woods and husband Bourke, Clifton Turner, Amanda Wiley and husband Jewell, Eddie Cunningham and wife Amber, and Tyler Owens; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Allan was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Clay Allan; one daughter, Katrina Marie Collett; one brother, William Fuess; and one grandson, Jeremy Haggard. Her parents were William Watson Fuess and Mae Elizabeth Carver Fuess.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013, at the Bardwell Christian Church with the Rev. Josh Pendergrass officiating.
