CAIRO, Ill. — Yashoda Vaidya, 81, of Cairo, formerly of India, died Monday, July 15, 2013, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
She was a homemaker and of the Hindu religion.
She is survived by one son, Bhargavbhai “Bill” Pandya of Cairo; one other son; five daughters, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chandrakant Vaidya. Her parents were Ambbalal and Narmada Pandya.
Private services will be at 1 p.m. today, Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo.
