Brooke Elizabeth Adams and Drew Lance Englert were united in marriage Feb. 23 at Lone Oak First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Music was provided by Miss Allyson Boyles of Louisville, vocalist, and Mrs. Bobbie Sue Chumbler of Paducah, pianist/organist.
The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Frankie Adams of Paducah. The groom is the son of Donnie L. and Janet Englert of Paducah.
The bride chose Mrs. Lauren Elias of Lexington as her matron of honor, and her sister, Miss Bethany Adams of Lexington, as her maid of honor. Serving as bridesmaids were Miss Allyson Boyles of Louisville, Mrs. Allison Thompson of Kevil, Mrs. Celeste Barry of Elizabethtown, Miss Erica Pence and Mrs. Brett Stewart, both of Lexington. Serving as flower girls were Miss Maddie Englert and Miss Sylvie Englert, daughters of Derek and Shannon Englert of Benton.
The groom chose Jeremy Elias of Lexington as his best man. Groomsmen were Derek Englert of Benton and Darren Englert of Paducah, brothers of the groom; Jon Deaton of Paducah; Jason Johnson and Matt Strong, both of Lexington. Serving as ushers and candlelighters were William “Buddy” Krebs of Erlanger and Nathan Adams of Sophia, N.C.
A reception followed at Walker Hall Event Center. Servers were Mrs. Shelia Hughes of Fredonia and Mrs. Kay Willis of Mount Carmel, Ill. Programs were distributed by Jack Hutcheson and Miss McCall Hutcheson, both of Paducah. Serving as guest register attendants were Miss Elizabeth Walters and Miss Holly Gray, both of Lexington.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Lone Oak High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a pediatric nurse employed by the University of Kentucky Healthcare Children’s Hospital in Lexington.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Lone Oak High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed as a mechanical engineer with SRC of Lexington.
The couple reside in Lexington.
