WINGO — William “Bill” McClure, 81, of Wingo died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at his residence.
He was a retired machinist, Graves County deputy jailer, and member of Sharon Baptist Church.
Mr. McClure is survived by his wife, Sharon McClure; twelve children, William (Carlene) McClure Jr., of Milan, Tenn., Robert McClure of Cayce, David (Brenda) McClure of Rockwood, Tenn., Daniel (Tara) McClure of Bardwell, Ruth McClure of St. Louis, Mo., Dolores Kelley of Hobart, Ind., Holly (James) Ambrose of Coral Springs, Fla., Eron McClure of Crestview, Fla., Heidi (Bryon) Hall of Mt. Washington, Ky., Jonathan McClure of Wingo, Kelleigh McClure of Wingo, and Brandi (Adam) Robertson of Clinton Township, Mich.; stepchildren, Michelle (Daniel, Jr.) Peters of Clinton, Conn., and Kimberly (Bill) Ramcke of Deep River, Conn.; brothers and sisters, Robert (Betty) McClure of Clinton, Louise (Lindy) Henley of Columbus, Alpha Mae Tate of Fulgham, Wesley (Betty) McClure of Fulgham, Franklin (Geraldine) McClure of Fulgham, and Betty Breedlove of Fulgham; 23 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren also survive.
Preceded in death by brothers, Brantferd and Melvin McClure; sisters, Maggie McClure, Marie Elliott, and JoElla Robert. His parents were Lennie Wesley and Lou Annie McClure.
Memorial celebration of life will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2013, at the Sharon Baptist Church in Mayfield. Frank McClure will officiate. A private burial will follow at Clark’s Cemetery in Fulgham. Reception to follow the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Lourdes Hospice and Gideons.
Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements.
