Phillip Warren Denton, 54, of Titusville, Fla., passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012, after a long, hard fought battle with cancer. Phillip passed peacefully with his family around him. Born in Paducah, Ky. to Warren and Shirley Hayden Denton, Phillip moved to Titusville with his family in 1967. He was a graduate of Astronaut High School and attended Florida State University. Phillip’s career was in real estate with offices in Titusville and Orlando. He attended Christ Church Unity where he volunteered in the library.
Phillip is survived by his sister, Cathy (George) Eazsol; his niece, Jessica (Jason) Pittman; and great-niece and great-nephew, Jaylee and Jaymes Pittman, all of Mims, Fla.; his aunts, Mary Louise Denton of La Center, Carolyn Fields of Louisville, Rita (Howard) Darnell of Mayfield, and Rose (Jim) Brandenberg of Glendale, Ariz.; his uncles, Donald (Louise) Hayden of Mayfield, Steve (Linda) Hayden of Alamo, Kenneth (Judy) Hayden and Wayne (Pat) Hayden, both of Louisville, and William (Margaret) Hayden of St. Louis; a multitude of cousins and his beloved cockatoo--Tank.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents, Victor Sr. and Paulette Denton and Joseph and Alma Hayden.
Graveside services will be held at La Center Gardens Saturday, May 4, 2013, at 11 a.m. with Bro. Kevin Denton officiating. Morrow Funeral Chapel of La Center is in charge of arrangements.
