BENTON - Alexia Paige Fortson and Jerod Cole Williams were united in marriage Oct. 20 at Walnut Grove Church of Christ with Kevin Williams officiating. Vocal music was provided by Terry Klope, Jennifer Swinnea and Josh Herndon.
Parents of the couple are Jeff and Rebecca Fortson of Paducah and Kevin and Lyn Williams of Benton.
The bride chose Mrs. Lori Williams of Benton as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Ms. Stephanie Fowler of Murray, Ms. Jamie Johnson of Benton and Ms. Mariah Underwood of Paducah. Flower girls were Jemma Williams and Alivia Williams, daughters of Lori and Clint Williams of Benton; and Makenzie Swinnea, daughter of Jennifer and Donny Swinnea of Chappells, S.C. Jase Gill, son of Kristen and Jason Gill of Paducah, served as ringbearer. Makayla Swinnea of Chappells attended the guest register.
The groom chose Clint Williams of Benton as his best man. Groomsmen were Zach Wells of Milan, Tenn.; Jacob Henson of Murray; and Jared Whybark of Benton. Serving as ushers were Joseph Herron, Tyler Dunigan and Ben Riley, all of Benton.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Community Christian Academy in Paducah and a 2011 graduate of West Kentucky Community Technical College. She is a registered nurse employed at Lourdes Hospital.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Marshall County High School in Benton and attends Mid-Continent University in Mayfield. He is employed by Murray Guard Security.
The couple resides in Paducah.
