MURRAY — Joe Pat Johnson, 78, of Murray died Sunday, April 7, 2013, at his home.
He was a former employee for Tappan Stove Company, a retired farmer, and a member of Salem Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Joetta Cook Johnson; one daughter, Cindy Clark of Murray; two sons, Roger Johnson of Hazel and Jimmy Dale Johnson of Murray; two sisters, Wilma Wiser and Betty Williams, both of Murray; two brothers, Charles D. Johnson and Hugh “Shorty” Johnson, both of Murray; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters; and one brother. His parents were Tannie D and Obera Jones Johnson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013, at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Phillip Bazzell and Glen Cope officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at the funeral home.
