Cynthia Marie Alexander, 47, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., formerly of Paducah, died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was a former member of New Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church and a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. She attended the Job Corps Center in St. Louis, and was a cook and clerk for Cut-Mart in Cairo, Ill.
She is survived by her husband, James Alexander; her mother, Christine Henry Hagans of St. Louis; three sons, Andrace McGee of Cape Girardeau, Deantio McGee of Paducah, and James Burns of Martin, Tenn.; four daughters, Faith Louise McGee of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Alisa McGee-McKinley of East St. Louis, Ill., Michelle Burns and Tomica Alexander, both of Paducah; 18 grandchildren; two sisters, Joann McGee of St. Louis, and Christina Jackson of Denver, Colo.; four brothers, Harvey McGee Jr., Tony McGee, Rome McGee, and Tyke McGee, all of St. Louis, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 6 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2013, at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Rev. Alfred Anderson officiating.
Friends may from 4 p.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home.
