Charles Marion Bell, 82, of Fulton died March 24, 2013, at Parkway Regional Hospital.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in Vietnam.
He was a member of the mounted police in Detroit, Mich., and was also a member of the Hickman County Rescue Squad. He had lived most of his life in Detroit, and Graves and Hickman counties.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Barbara Lee (Boyle) Bell; a daughter Shelia Bell of Dearborn, Mich.; three sons, Phillip Bell of Fulton, Douglas Bell of Hardin and Richard Bell of Monroe, Mich.; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Linda Tackett of Ypsilant, Mich., Betty Larson of Chicago and Shirley Roberts of New Hall, Calif., and a brother Mickey Church of Chicago.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kay Caduix, a son, Gary Bell, and a brother Earl McBee.
His parents were Claud and Nannie (Forrester) Bell.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at the Wesley Cemetery.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home and friends may meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
