MARTIN, Tenn. — Cornelius Andrew “Andy” Gumpfer Jr., 75, of Martin, formerly of South Fulton, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Van Ayer Manor.

He was a member of Central Union Church in Honolulu and retired from the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by three great-nephews and one great-niece.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Burks (Fitzgerald) Gumpfer, and one brother. His parents were Alice Keonaona (Hapai) and Cornelius Andrew Gumpfer.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Obion County Memorial Gardens. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. There will be no visitation.
