BARDWELL — Jane Todd Webb, 79, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013.

A native of Bardwell, Jane was a long-time member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.

She was a funny, loving, strong and hardworking woman that always brightened a room. Jane loved to laugh and to make others laugh.

Everyone says that she always had a smile on her face. Jane was a devoted wife, mother, sister, friend and grandmother that always put her family and others first.

Her salvation and trust in Jesus Christ was the cornerstone of her life. Diagnosed with cancer on January 2nd, she always had a rule, even for her doctors, that you could not enter or leave her room unless you were smiling. Jane was preceded in death by the love of her life, Bill Webb. They were married for 56 years and were inseparable. Their personalities were perfect together, he was quiet and reserved, she was just the opposite — lively and outspoken. The soul mates are together again.

Jane is survived by her three children, Philip Webb and wife Carolyn of Frankfort, Ky., Lisa Dodge and husband Darrin of Kevil, Ky., and Carey Webb of Bardwell, Ky. Her granddaughters were the light of her world, Mikaela and Catelynn Webb, Claire Logan and Caroline Troxell of Frankfort, Ky., Olivia Dodge of Kevil, Ky., and Jenifer Webb of Bardwell, Ky. Jane is survived by her loving sister and brothers, Marilyn Polivick, Graves Todd and Bill Todd, all of Bardwell; and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Willie Mae Hogancamp Todd; her sisters, Elizabeth Crooks and Patsy Owsley; her brothers, Elmo Todd, Millard Todd and Ed Todd.

Funeral services for Jane Webb will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell with Bro. David Callison officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Bardwell.

Visitation with the family will begin at 5 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2013, at the funeral home. Jane was a sweet and wonderful woman that will be dearly missed by her family and friends, but we have the blessed assurance of seeing her again one day.

Donations in her memory may be made to the: American Cancer Society, 3140 Parisa Drive, Paducah, KY 42003
