BENTON — Guy Julien Criel, 76, of Benton, formerly of Westende, Belgium, died at 5:28 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Baptist Health Paducah.

He was a veteran of the Belgian Armed Forces, a retired instrument specialist, and a member of First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Maria (Duyver) Criel, and one son, Danny Criel of Crystal Lake, Ill.

His parents were Ernest Siegfried and Georgette (VanPethegen) Siegfried.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2013, at Collier Funeral Home with Rev. Don Wilson officiating.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
