WINGO — Alvie Wayburn Crittendon, 72, of Wingo died at 12:27 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Baptist Health Paducah.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, a retired tire builder from Goodyear and a farmer. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Sue Riley Crittendon; two daughters, Latricia Bounds and Tammy Crittendon, both of Wingo; one son, Sammy Crittendon of Mayfield; three brothers, Frankie Crittendon and Bennie Crittendon, both of Wingo, and Glendale Crittendon of Cunningham; four sisters, Velma Speight of Wingo, Wilma Gorham of Mayfield, Bonnie Beasley of Grand Rivers, and Pattie Blume of Mayfield; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, N.B. “Doc” and Martha Oliver Crittendon.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with the Rev. Mike Miller officiating. Burial will be in Wingo Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at the funeral home.
