MURRAY — Laverne “Tootie” Mills, 83, of Murray died at 1:45 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

She was a member of Sinking Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sister, Frankie Lax; one nephew, Tim Lax; and one great-nephew, Jordan Lax, all of Murray.

Her parents were Lee and Ozella Bradley Mills.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home with the Revs. Carl Butler and William B. Miller officiating.

Burial will be in South Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today, March 19, 2013, at the funeral home.
