MURRAY — Emma Bryan Orr Newton, 75, of Murray died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at her home.

 She was a member of Ferguson Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Ben Thomas “Tommy” Newton; one daughter, Nell Gartman of Kyle, Texas; one son, Robert C. Newton of Dallas; one stepdaughter, Glee Mikus of Wisconsin; one stepson, John Newton of Florida; three grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Kim Newton; two brothers; and one stepson, R.T. Newton. Her parents were Milburn Clay Orr and Eufaula Arnett Orr.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Ferguson Springs Baptist Church in Hardin with James Keeling and Howard Conner officiating. Interment will follow at Ferguson Springs Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the church.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Ferguson Springs Cemetery Fund or to the Gideons.
