Paul E. (Sonny) Alexander, 75, of Paducah, died Thursday at 11 a.m. at his home.

Sonny was a retired plumbing contractor.

Sonny is survived by his wife of 55 years, Eva Bishop Alexander of Paducah; one son, Gregory Paul Alexander of Paducah; one daughter, Ginger Bass of Kevil; one brother, Howard Alexander of Jackson, Mo.; one sister, Martha McKinney of Paducah; three grandchildren, Jodi Lynne Gainey, Michael Paul Bass, and Paula Nicole Alexander; five great-grandchildren.

Sonny was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Olear Christian Alexander; two brothers, Bobby Alexander and Harlan Alexander; and one sister, Peggy Williams.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center with the Rev. Dale Crabtree officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center, Ky.
