MURRAY — Paul C. McGregor, 100, of Murray died at 7:49 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013, at Hickory Woods Senior Living Community.

He was a member of Dawson Springs Primitive Baptist Church, attended First Baptist Church in Murray, and was a World War II Army veteran and retired farmer and teacher.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Iretta (Teague) McGregor; one daughter, Paula McGregor Alcott of Murray; two sons, James Rhett McGregor of Cincinnati, Ohio, and William Clark McGregor of Versailles; one sister, Nan Powell of Madisonville; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister. His parents were Bunyon and Mona Florence (McGregor) McGregor.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs with Jeff Winfrey and Rev. Jay Ridenour officiating. Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery in Hopkins County with full military honors.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home in Murray and after 11 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs.
