CADIZ — Virgil Frank Barnett, 92, of Cadiz died Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Trigg County Hospital.

He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by one son, Dallas Frank Barnett of McKenzie, Tenn.; two daughters, Della Barnett of Piqua, Ohio, and Doradean Barnett of Montgomery, Ala.; one brother, Bill Barnett of Kansas; two sisters, Melba Foote and Mildred Storm, both of Kansas; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola Osborn Barnett; one sister, and one brother. His parents were Frank and Minnie Mae Smith Barnett.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard, Kan. Entombment will follow in Elk Falls Cemetery in Elk Falls, Kan.  Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013, at King’s Funeral Home in Cadiz.
