PRINCETON — Celeste Eldridge, age 88, of Princeton, Ky., died Monday, March 4, 2013, at Caldwell Medical Center.

She was of the Methodist faith. She was a member of the Elks Lodge No. 115 of Princeton and was actively involved in the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

She is survived by one brother, Bobby Yates of Providence, Ky.; two sisters, Dorothy Franklin and June Mesaris of Princeton, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Eldridge; her parents, A. P. Yates and Mary F. Thomas Yates; four brothers, and three sisters.

Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Morgan’s Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 7, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Rev. Johnnie Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
