BARDWELL — Wanda Mae (Brown) Sullivan, 82, of Bardwell passed away at 1:41 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Countryside Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She was a member of Bardwell Baptist Church. She retired from Western Baptist where she worked as a registered nurse on the oncology floor. Prior to graduating from WKTCT RN program, she worked for 10 years as a teacher’s aide at Carlisle County Elementary School. After retiring, she went back to work at Countryside Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie S. Jackson and husband Kerry of Kirbyton, and Sherylann S. Todd and husband Jimmy of Cunningham; her son, Steve Sullivan of Bardwell; her sister, Martha A. Drury of Wickliffe; her grandchildren, James L. Sullivan and wife Shanna of Hardin, Kyle M. Jackson of Evansville, Ryan S. Jackson of Bardwell, Erin B. Jackson of Kirbyton, Whitley S. Todd of Kirbyton, and Logan Todd of Murray; her great-grandchildren, Steve B. Sullivan and Shandra Sullivan, both of Hardin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her husband, James H. “Jim” Sullivan; her parents, Claude T. and Irva O. (Bobo) Brown; and her brother, Warren T. Brown.
Services for Mrs. Sullivan will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell with Rev. Rodney Bice officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013, at the funeral home.
