WINGO — Services for Marvin D. Parchman, 79, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly of Wingo, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Brown Funeral Home in Wingo. The Rev. David Gargus will officiate. Burial will follow in Wingo Cemetery.
Mr. Parchman died Sunday afternoon, Feb. 24, 2013, at his home.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a retired welder. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.
Survivors include his wife, Winnie Marty Parchman; five daughters, Dixie Williams, Christy Schultz and Lori Mueller, all of Pekin, Ill., Julie Jones of Kansas City, Mo., and Susie Parchman of Pennsylvania; two sons, Danny Parchman of Arizona and Michael Parchman of Pekin, Ill.; two stepdaughters, Joyce Ann Schneider of Denver and Sharon Ballew of Poplar Bluff; one brother, Harlan Parchman of Hickory; four sisters, Maureen Robinson, Dean Wooten and Linda Watts, all of Wingo, and Evelyn Tucker of Wayne, Mich.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother. His parents were Waylon Cecil and Ora Estelle Weaks Parchman.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013, at the funeral home.
