Mr. and Mrs. Bernard “Bernie” Herrmann of Paducah celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Pork Peddler restaurant.
Mr. Herrmann and the former Mary Colleen “Connie” Kirby were married Jan. 19, 1953, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bowling Green with the Rev. Charles Bowling officiating. Their attendants were Anthony and Virginia Herrmann Drechsler.
Mrs. Herrmann is the daughter of the late Oscar and Mary Alice Kirby.
Mr. Herrmann is a retired Chevrolet-Chrysler dealer in Rosiclare, Ill., and retired real estate agent in Paducah. He is the son of the late Carl and Esther Herrmann.
They have four children: Mike Herrmann and Donna Steinkamp, both of Brentwood, Tenn., Patti Koch and Debbie Soward, both of Rosiclare, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
