CADIZ — Services for Ronnie W. Dawson, 49, of Herndon will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz with the Rev. John Herndon officiating. Burial will be in Flat Lick Cemetery in Christian County, with military rites.

Mr. Dawson died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Signature Health Care Center in Memphis, Tenn.

Mr. Dawson was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his mother, Susie M. Dawson of Herndon; two brothers, Hank Dawson of Herndon and Tom N. Dawson Jr. of Dillsboro, Ind.; and three sisters, Judy Nell Boren of Dillsboro, Ind., Debbie Sue Dunning of Hopkinsville and Virginia Hickman York of Lacey Springs, Ala.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Nat Dawson Sr.
