HICKORY — Agnes K. Wyatt Carr, 86, of Hickory died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at her home.

Mrs. Carr was a member of Hickory Baptist Church and a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. She was a retired postmaster and a former employee for Pet Milk.

She is survived by one son, Phillip W. Carr of Hickory; one daughter, Phyllis Wilson of Fancy Farm; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard H. Carr. Her parents were Virgil and Rosette Hendley Wyatt.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield with the Revs. David Brasher and C.W. Barnhill officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity Cemetery.

Friends may call 5-8 p.m. today, Feb. 18, 2013, at the funeral home.
