ELIZABETHTOWN, Ill. — Services for Richard “Mug” Lampert, 82, of Elizabethtown will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home in Cave-in-Rock with the Rev. Stan Pennell officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
Mr. Lampert died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at Hardin County Hospital in Rosiclare.
He was a retired fluorspar miner, having worked at Minerva Mine #1 in Cave-in-Rock.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Marguerite Lampert; two daughters, Willa Oveta Lampert of Elizabethtown and Loretta Shetler of Paducah; one son, Wilburn Deneen Lampert of Elizabethtown; one sister, Thetna Hughes of Cave-in-Rock; one brother, Ivan Lampert of Harrisburg; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. His parents were Edward and Vada Suits Lampert.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at the funeral home.
