Alma Rene Cooper Overstreet, 92, of Loveland, Ohio, formerly of Paducah, passed away at 3:45 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2013, at The Lodge Care Center in Loveland.
Mrs. Overstreet was a member of Twelve Oaks Baptist Church. She was the past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Paducah Fire Department and she had worked for The Fabric Shop and Homespun House.
She is survived by her son, Edwin L. Overstreet and wife Sheryl of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Billie Farrow and Margie Hughes, both of Paducah; her brother, Freddie Cooper and wife Susan of Paducah; and her sister-in-law, Margy Cooper; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin H. Overstreet; four sisters, and three brothers. Her parents were Fred Hinkle and Annie Webb Cooper.
Funeral services for Mrs. Overstreet will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, with the Rev. Don Wilson and the Rev. Louis Brinker officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in West Paducah.
Visitation for Mrs. Overstreet will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2013, at the funeral home.
