Peggy Tomlin, 79, of Paducah died at 12:35 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013, at Baptist Health Paducah.

She was a retired nurse’s aide at Marshall County Hospital in Benton. She was a member of Trace Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Laurie Hindy of Paducah; one son, Thomas Glenn Ridgeway of Benton; one sister, Christine Bell of New York; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Woodrow “Bob” Tomlin; one daughter, Linda Clark; and seven brothers and sisters. Her parents were Samuel Arthur and Daisy Alpha Bell.

Collier Funeral Home of Benton is handling arrangements.

Graveside services will be private. No public visitation is scheduled.
