MURRAY — Services for Gerral Eads, 73, of Murray will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at Heritage Family Funeral Home in Murray. The Rev. Elijah Balentine will officiate and burial will be in Wilkerson Cemetery in Russell Springs.

Mr. Eads died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

He retired as a maintenance worker for the city park and was a member of Dexter Pentecostal Church.

He is survived by his wife, Velie Balentine Eads; two stepsons, Kenneth Jones of Benton and Keith Jones of Murray; three stepdaughters, Teresa Joyce of Benton, Tammy Hicks of Murray and Betty Tucker of Murray; a twin brother, Earl Eads of South Carolina; one sister, Geneice Hansens of Illinois; 14 stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.

His parents were Delmon Lee and Eva Ann Eads.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at the funeral home.
