FULTON — Helen Louise Atwill, age 86, of Fulton, Ky., died Sunday, February 10, 2013, at the Golden Living Center in Union City, Tenn.
She was a member of the Cayce Baptist Church and Eastern Star of Fulton, Ky., where she served as Deputy Matron and in numerous offices. She was also an active member of the Gideon’s and had worked in Union City, Tenn., doing clerical work.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Joseph “Lewis” Atwill of Fulton, Ky.; a son, Joseph Lewis “J.L.” Atwill and wife Melanie of Fulton, Ky.; two grandchildren, Camiel Atwill Taylor and husband Mike of Martin, Tenn., and Jay Atwill of Fulton, Ky.; two great-grandchildren, Emma and Nick Taylor of Martin, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Mayme Moss Stallins, and a half brother, Raymond Stallins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Rush Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home after 8 a.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2013, until the funeral hour.
