Robert R. and Winona Inez Hubbard of Symsonia announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Virginia Hubbard, to Vernon Scott Miller, son of John Miller of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Julie and Andy Curvin of Mayfield.

Miss Hubbard is the granddaughter of the late James Robert and Watseka Barnes, and the late Robert W. and Juanita Hubbard.

Mr. Miller is the grandson of the late Jimmy and Sue Miller.

The couple plan to wed on July 27.
