MURRAY — Viva Ellis, 100, of Murray died Friday, February 1, 2013, at Spring Creek Health Care.

She was a member of Goshen United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ellis Larson and Elizabeth Jo Reeder, both of Murray; one sister, Mary Darby of Jefferson City, Tenn.; one brother, Ratliffe Paschall of Como, Tenn.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Shannon Ellis; five brothers; and four sisters. Her parents were Hafford and Verba Nance Paschall.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2013, at Imes-Miller Funeral Home of Murray with David Allbritten officiating. Burial will follow at South Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013, at the funeral home.
