CADIZ — Willie B. Cothran, 87, of Cadiz died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Caldwell Medical Center in Princeton.
He was a member of Delmont Baptist Church, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and retired from TVA.
He is survived by one son, Robert Calvin Cothran of Cadiz; three daughters, Carolyn Choate, Dorothy Edmonson and Tammy Cothran, all of Cadiz; one sister, Agners Paschall of Hazel; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Ramey Cothran; one son, David Cothran; and two brothers. His parents were Gentry “Red” and Minerva Louella Banister Cothran.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Albert Clardy officiating. Burial will follow at Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz with military honors. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at the funeral home.
