HOPKINSVILLE — Mydoral Wayne “Red” Henson, 75, of Hopkinsville died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at Jenny Stuart Medical Center.

Mr. Henson was a self-employed logger.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia Nell Greer Henson; 11 children, Lisa Herbert of Madisonville, Becky Holbrook of Harlan, Aaron Henson of Hopkinsville, Wendy Sakofsky of Clarksville, Tenn., Norma Anderson of Benton, Jerrie Lynn Boischel of Festus, Mo., Tina Sargent of Florida, Frankie Morrison of Mayfield, Tim Dale Morrison of Nashville, Tenn., Russ Hutter of Markle, Ind., and Tina Jones of Dawson Springs; one sister, Edwina Arington of Vienna, Ill.; 26 grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Crystal Roberts. His parents were Valcola and Verna Beatrice Henson.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home with David Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery.
