LEXINGTON — Angela Marie Orlando and John Lane Owens were united in marriage Sept. 8 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Lexington with the Rev. John Thomas of Madisonville officiating. Music was provided by Rob Vanover of Lexington, pianist.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Angelo Orlando of Lexington.

The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Mark Lane Owens of Paducah.

The bride chose Ms. Nicole Orlando of Lexington as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ms. Emily Ann Owens of Chicago, sister of the groom; and Ms. Jamie Rice of Nashville, Tenn. Serving as ringbearers were Owen  Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Brown of Paducah; and Daniel Piekarski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Pierkarski of West Virginia.

The groom chose his father as his best man. Groomsmen were Reiss Bright and Justin Schaefer, both of Louisville, and Kelly Violette of Naples, Fla. Ushers were Dustin Crane, Austin Davis, Josh Shelby and Michael Skidmore, all of Paducah.

A reception followed at The Signature Club in Lexington. Mrs. Adrienne Yeager of Paducah attended the guest register.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Tates Creek High School in Lexington and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology/economics in 2008 and a master’s degree in business administration in 2010, both from the University of Kentucky. She is employed in research and product development at J.M. Smuckers Inc. in Lexington.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Heath High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2006 and a master’s degree in business administration in 2010, both from the University of Kentucky. He is employed as an account manager at Computer Service Inc. in Lexington.

They reside in Lexington.
