Mark Taylor, 54, of Atlanta, Ga., died January 17, 2013, at Emory Hospital.

A native of Paducah, he was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School where he was an outstanding tennis player and captain of Tilghman’s team. He received his BS from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga. He worked for FOX television in Atlanta.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin W. Taylor Jr. His parents were Melvin Wayne Taylor Sr. and Sarah Boone Taylor.

Surviving are his wife, Olga Taylor of Atlanta; two sons, Mark Taylor Jr. and Ryan Taylor, both of Atlanta; two brothers, Everett Vern Taylor of Springfield, Ill., and Michael Taylor of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Dianne Taylor-Charles of Springfield, Ill.; his stepmother, Lenora Nadine Taylor of Paducah; a nephew, Melvin Wayne Taylor III of Paducah; and a niece, Dianna Marks of Little Rock, Ark.
