Ethel Mae Woodford Rankin, 88, of Paducah died at 4:07 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Western Baptist Hospital.

She was of the Nazarene faith. She was employed at Claussner Hosiery Mill for 14 years.

She is survived by three daughters, Shirley Reed, Brenda Wright and Dawn Fulkerson, all of Paducah; one son, Jimmie Rankin of Paducah; one sister, Frances Byassee of Grand Rivers; three half sisters; two half brothers; 24 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Rankin; one son, Bobby Rankin; one grandson; three sisters, and one brother. Her parents were Simon Woodford and Pearl Schroeder Woodford.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. David Reed officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at the funeral home.
