MAYFIELD — Services for James Earl Doughty, 72, of Mayfield will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield. The Rev. Ronnie Stinson Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Trace Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Doughty died at 2:10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at his home.

He was of the Baptist faith and was a construction worker.

Mr. Doughty is survived by his wife, Arlene “Pat” Reed Doughty; three daughters, Patricia Ellison of Nashville, Tenn., Cherrie King of Wingo and Jeanie Haley of Mayfield; his brother, Marshall Doughty of Petersburg, Va.; three sisters, Louise Hampton of McLoud, Okla., and Ann Taylor and Mary Hester, both of Mayfield; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Evans; five brothers; and four sisters. His parents were James Marshall and Truman Grace Conner Doughty.
