Mary Lee Martin, 73, of Paducah died at 5 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at her home.
She was a member of New Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and taught Bible school.
She retired as a cook from the former Riverfront Terrace Nursing Home of Paducah.
She is survived by one daughter, Rose White of Paducah; one stepdaughter, Lucreta Lambert of El Paso, Texas; five stepsons, James Martin Sr. and Raymond Martin Sr., both of Paducah, William Martin Sr., Brian Martin, and Cecil Martin Sr., all of Indianapolis; three grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ben Hall Sr. and Clifton Daye, both of Paducah, and James Hall and Tim Hall, both of Memphis, Tenn.; and two sisters, Patricia Rowe and Lisa Mayes, both of Rockford, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Martin Sr.; her stepmother, Mattie Hall; one stepson, Clarence L. Martin Jr.; three brothers; and one sister.
Her parents were Willie Hall and Frances Stanley Hall.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at New Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred Ford officiating.
Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, in Mound City National Cemetery in Mound City, Ill.
Friends may also call after noon until the funeral hour Monday at the church.
