CLINTON — Swayne Cole, 81, of Clinton died at 3:10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton.
He was a member of Oakton United Methodist Church, a 32nd degree Shriner, and a member of Eastern Star and Hickman Masonic Lodge 131 F&AM. He was a machinist at Ingersoll-Rand.
He is survived by his wife, Darce Snead Cole of Humboldt, Tenn.; and two sisters, Ruth Curlin and Louise Martin, both of Clinton.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Brenda Henson Cole; and one brother. His parents were Robert D. Cole and Mable Dean Gibson Cole.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Brown Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Vida McClure officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Masonic rites will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Donations can be made to Oakwood Cemetery, c/o Eddie Roberts, 2265 Hickman Road, Clinton, KY 42031.
