MAYFIELD — Shirley Gail Jeffries, 57, of Mayfield, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Lourdes hospital.

She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and was formerly employed as a teller by First Kentucky Bank.

Mrs. Jeffries is survived by her mother, Nina Davis McGinnis of Somerset, Ky.; two sons, Ric (Ray Anne) Jeffries of Melber, Ky., and James Jeffries of Mayfield; eight brothers, Chuck McGinnis of Columbia, Ky., Barry, Arnold, Naman, Paul, Randy, and Lanny McGinnis, all of Monticello, Ky.; and three grandchildren, Miranda Jeffries of Melber, and Devin and Ethan Jeffries, both of Mayfield.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Henry Jeffries; her father, Sherlie McGinnis; and her brother, Dwight McGinnis.

Services for Shirley Gail Jeffries will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2013, at Byrn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Duane Fields officiating.

Interment will follow in Highland Park Cemetery.

Friends may call on the family from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2013, at the funeral home.
