GRANTSBURG, Ill. — Services for Joellen Burnett Newberry, 58, of Grantsburg, the Benton community, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2013, at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Burial will be in Rentfro Cemetery near Grantsburg.

Mrs. Newberry died at 4:34 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at her home.

Mrs. Newberry was formerly employed as an operator at EEI. She was a member of Simpson Baptist Church and the Anna Moose Lodge Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Newberry; a son, Casey Newberry of Grantsburg; two grandchildren; a brother, John Burnett of Draffenville, and two sisters, Rosemary Helm and Linda Burnam of Grantsburg.

She was preceded in death by a son, Chad Newberry, and a sister. Her parents were E.L. Burnett and Mary M. Rose Burnett.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013, at the funeral home.
