FULTON — Edward “Charles” Jones, 78, of the Pilot Oak community died Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Haws Memorial Nursing Home in Fulton.
He was a member of Pilot Oak Baptist Church and was a track hoe operator for the Graves County Road Department.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Owsley) Jones; three sons, Ray Kent Jones of Mayfield, Michael Wayne Jones of Franklin, Tenn., and Dean Allen Jones of Huntsville, Ala.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, J.W. Jones of Palmersville, Tenn., and Wendell Ray Jones of Wingo, and one sister, Juanita Watts of Wingo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noble and Lora Pearl (Lamb) Jones.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Pilot Oak Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pilot Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Pilot Oak Baptist Church.
