JACKSON, Mo. — Dixie L. Rodgers, 58, of Jackson, formerly of Alexander County, Ill., died at 12:45 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She attended Alexander Freewill Baptist Church in Thebes, Ill.

She is survived by two daughters, Nikki Neel of Cape Girardeau and Heather Coleman of Jackson; a son, Michael Coleman of Cape Girardeau; her mother, Mildred Shirley Knupp of Hawthorne, Fla.; three brothers, Billy Dunn of Farmington, Jimmy Dunn of Percy, Ill., and Tim Dunn of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Tammy Douglas of Springfield; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert “Bob” Dunn.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms with the Rev. Earnest Brown officiating.

Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
