Patricia S. “Pat” Sullivan, 75, of Paducah passed away at 3:20 p.m. on Sunday, December 23, 2012, at Lourdes Hospital.
Pat was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, an associate of the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph in Maple Mount, Ky., active in the Catholic and ecumenical cursillio, worked as a clerk/secretary in shipping and receiving at Union Carbide, retired as cafeteria manager at St. Mary High School, was a strong contributor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and a strong supporter of the military wounded and disabled veterans.
Pat is survived by her husband of 55 years, Michael J. “Mike” Sullivan; a son, Barry Lynn Sullivan of Paducah; two daughters, Laurie Ellen Sullivan Bundy and husband Lynn of Paducah and Mary “Kathleen” Sullivan of Paducah; two grandchildren, Jennifer Ellen Bundy Greve and husband Nathan of Paducah, Robert “Jason” Bundy of Paducah; very close friend, Stephanie Elder of Calvert City; two great-grandchildren, Dallas Caiden Greve and Kinsley Addison Greve, both of Paducah; two sisters, Vicki Jo Sloan Kloss and husband Ray of Paducah, and Debbie Lynn Sloan Dyson of Paducah; one niece, Lauren Brook Dyson of Paducah; two nephews, William Addam Dyson of Paducah and Michael Phillip Kloss and wife Nicole of Paducah; one great-nephew, Brayden Kloss; two great-nieces, Brylee Kloss and Emma Dyson; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jeff Dyson. Her parents were William Earl and Virginia Ellen Moore Sloan.
A funeral Mass will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with the Rev. Brian Roby officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
The Sullivan family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2012, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Prayers will be said at 8 p.m.
