CALVERT CITY — William Russell “Pappy” Shrum Jr., 74, of Calvert City, died at 10:18 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2012, at Lourdes hospital.

He was a supervisor for LWD.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Marie Steward Shrum of Calvert City; four sons, Travis Russell Shrum of Calvert City, Scott Shrum of Clarksville, Tenn., Bobby Shrum of Nashville, Tenn., and Eddie Shrum of Donnelson, Tenn.; one daughter, Michelle Young of Hardin; one granddaughter, Jade “Jake” Young of Hardin; one brother, Earl Shrum of Paducah; and one sister, Mary Steele of Scottsville.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Leon Shrum. His parents were William Russell Shrum Sr. and Louella Shrum.

There will be no visitation or funeral services.
