VIENNA, Ill. — Sara Ann Gibson, 66, of Vienna died at 8:49 a.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012, at the home of her daughter, Lisa Taylor, in Vienna.

Ms. Gibson, a former restaurant manager, was employed for 22 years by the Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Sun Sentinel newspaper, where she worked in the newspaper delivery and sales division until her retirement in 2008. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Taylor and David Sheffer Jr., both of Vienna, and LeSara Harris of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Linda Jean Adams of Bardwell, Ky.

She was preceded in death by one brother. Her parents were Jessee Henry Bass and Dorothy Lee Dowdy Bass.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2012, at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Burial will be in Wickliffe Cemetery in Wickliffe. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2012, at the funeral home.
