HENDERSON — Veldene “ Hoot “ Austin Kenreck, 74, of Henderson died 6:05 a.m. Friday, December 21, 2012,  at Deaconess Hospice Care Center in Evansville, Ind.

She is survived by a sister, Faye Oxford of Cave-in-Rock, Ill.; brother, Arthur Austin Jr. of Cave-in-Rock, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Kenreck.

Her parents were Arthur Austin Sr. and Verdna Austin.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2012, at Hardin County Funeral Services, Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home with the Revs. Ed Lafferty and Diane Wilkerson officiating.

Burial will be at Cave Hill Cemetery in Cave-in-Rock. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012, at the funeral home.

Donations may be made to the Baptist Children’s Home in Carmi, Ill.
